A ticket to 418 will get fans Prabhas’s Fauzi glimpse on the big screen

Prabhas fans who want their birthday treat on a cinema screen will first have to brave a horror film. Mythri Movie Makers producer Y Ravi Shankar said on 21 October that a video glimpse of Fauzi, the actor’s period war drama with director Hanu Raghavapudi, will be released on 23 October, Prabhas’s birthday, and will be screened in theatres with 418, the banner’s horror thriller that opens the same day.

Speaking at the teaser launch of Mythri’s Donga Naa Koduku, Ravi Shankar played the moment down. He described the video as a first look at the world of Fauzi and at Prabhas’s character, not a teaser or a trailer, and asked fans not to expect anything on the scale of Baahubali.

The film carrying it

418, presented by Prashanth Neel and written and directed by debutant Kirtan Nadagouda, is Mythri’s first horror film. It releases on 23 October in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam, after paid premieres from 10.48 pm on 22 October, at Dolby Atmos screens only.

Fauzi, set in the 1940s, casts Prabhas as a soldier, with Imanvi making her debut opposite him. Ravi Shankar has already confirmed that the film will miss its announced release date of 3 December 2026; a new date has not been set.
