Bigg Boss Telugu 10: double elimination in week seven as Dakshi and Shalini leave the house

Bigg Boss sent nobody home in week six and two people home in week seven. In the episode of Sunday 25 October, wildcard contestant Dakshi Gutthikonda and Shalini Damera, who had returned from the secret room, both left the house, by two different routes.

The first was the audience’s call. In the week’s voting Rohit, Trigun, Aman and Ramakrishna polled the most, leaving Neetu Nataraj, Shivakumar and Dakshi at the bottom. Nagarjuna had the nominees open boxes, and Dakshi’s held the black confetti. She took it calmly, saying she keeps away from petty fights and drawn-out arguments and that this may have cost her. She had been in the house for two weeks.

Shalini’s second chance runs out

Shalini’s exit took a longer road. Due for eviction in week six, she was sent to the secret room instead and then brought back. In the Saturday episode of 24 October, Nagarjuna praised Naresh, Debjani and Aman for their game and was severe on the conduct of Trigun, Rohit and Shalini, telling the red zone that a surprise awaited and hinting at a second elimination.

On Sunday it came. Of the seven in the red zone, four were saved by yellow-zone members: Shiva chose Swetha Naidu, Varshini chose Sudhir, Ram Prasad chose Jhansi and Naresh chose Vamsi. Rohit, Shalini and Ramakrishna were left, and the housemates voted. Shalini drew the most votes, on the ground that nothing in her game had changed since the secret room. After she had said her goodbyes Nagarjuna called her back, a moment that briefly confused the house, and then confirmed the exit. This time it was not the audience but the housemates who sent her out.
