Aadarsha Kutumbam day 1 collection: Venkatesh-Trivikram film opens to about Rs 16 crore gross worldwide
Trivikram Srinivas's Aadarsha Kutumbam, with Venkatesh in the lead, took in about Rs 16 crore gross across the world when it opened on Friday, 30 October, with roughly Rs 11 crore of that coming from India.

Aadarsha Kutumbam, the first film Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas have made together as actor and director, took about Rs 16 crore gross across the world on the day it opened, Friday, 30 October. Box-office tracking put the figure at Rs 16.65 crore, and trade reports from the Telugu industry also placed it close to Rs 16 crore.
India and overseas
About Rs 11 crore of the worldwide figure came from India, which comes to roughly Rs 9.5 crore net in the country. The two Telugu states provided most of that domestic business. Overseas markets added about Rs 5.5 crore, with North America the biggest contributor.
Not every estimate matches. Some trade reports put the worldwide opening closer to Rs 20 crore, a figure that has not been backed by tracking data so far. The producers, Haarika & Hassine Creations, had not released an official day-one figure by Saturday afternoon.
An average start
Trade reports describe the opening as average for a pairing that last worked together two decades ago on Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, films for which Trivikram was the writer. The film opened to mixed reviews; Telugu Scope’s review rated it 2.75 out of 5, praising Venkatesh but finding the second half weak.
The crime drama has Venkatesh as the head of the household, Srinidhi Shetty as his wife and Nara Rohith as the officer investigating the case. S. Radha Krishna produced it. The film’s first weekend runs through Sunday, 1 November.
