Hatah postponed: Kiran Abbavaram-produced thriller pulls out of its 6 November release, new date to follow
Two days before it was due in theatres, the makers of Hatah have moved the thriller off its Friday, 6 November slot, citing a crowded release window and work on the film's theatre sound.

Hatah postponed: the thriller produced by Kiran Abbavaram will not reach theatres on Friday, 6 November as planned. The makers announced the move on Wednesday, 4 November, with a fresh poster put out two days before the film was due on screens, and said the new release date would be shared soon.
The team gave two reasons. Several films are arriving in the same window, and the makers also want more time to make sure the film sounds the way they intend it to in cinema halls. The poster carried the line “A New Date. A Better Experience.” and thanked viewers for their support. Post-production, the makers said, is on track.
A packed festival week
The Telugu version of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana opens on Thursday, 5 November, with Dil Raju’s SVC releasing it in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Hatah was to follow a day later, as part of a busy Diwali slate of theatre and streaming releases. Dil Raju had also taken up Hatah for release in the Nizam and Uttarandhra territories.
Who made the film
Anush Gorak directed Hatah, and Tanuja Puttaswamy plays the central role. Kushlu Maddala, Rehman and Namritha MV are also in the cast. Kiran Abbavaram produced the film under his KA Productions banner along with Pournami Entertainments, and Jecin George composed the music. The teaser came out in September.
Kiran Abbavaram, who played the lead in KA and K-Ramp, also has his first film as director, Reality, lined up for release on 25 December. For Hatah, the team has said only that the fresh date will be announced shortly; no new date has been fixed so far.
