The School Education Department has issued the fee schedule for the March 2027 SSC, OSSC and Vocational public examinations. Fees paid between 30 October and 16 November carry no late charge; later windows cost Rs 50, Rs 200 or Rs 500 extra.

Students who will sit the Telangana SSC (Class 10) public examinations in March 2027 can now pay their examination fee. The School Education Department issued the fee schedule on 22 October, and the first window opens on 30 October.

Director of Government Examinations K. Lingaiah said the schedule applies to all regular and once-failed students appearing for the SSC, OSSC and Vocational public examinations.

Payment windows

Candidates pay the fee to their school headmaster or principal. The dates for each window are as follows.

  • No late fee: 30 October to 16 November 2026
  • Late fee of Rs 50: 18 November to 1 December
  • Late fee of Rs 200: 3 to 14 December
  • Late fee of Rs 500: 16 to 28 December

The press note says the dates will not be extended under any circumstances, so a student who misses a window moves to the next, costlier one.

How much to pay

The examination fee is Rs 125 for candidates appearing in more than three subjects or in all subjects, and Rs 110 for those appearing in up to three subjects. Students of vocational courses pay an additional Rs 60 on top of the Rs 125 fee charged for the SSC academic courses.

How the money reaches the board

Headmasters remit the amount online through the Cyber Treasury link on the Board’s website, bse.telangana.gov.in, using the school’s own login. For the no-late-fee window, schools can remit between 4 and 17 November. Challans through the IFMIS portal and manual bank challans are not accepted. Headmasters have been advised not to wait for the last date.

What families should do

  • Pay the school well before 16 November, because candidates who miss that date can pay again only from 18 November, with a late fee.
  • Confirm with the headmaster which subject count applies to your child.
  • Keep the receipt the school issues.

The notification deals only with fees. It does not carry the examination timetable, which students should watch for on the Board’s website.

Schools also have their own internal deadlines. After the headmaster remits the fee, the candidate data goes online to the District Educational Officer, who passes the school’s enrolment record on to the Directorate. For the no-late-fee window the school record is due by 10 December, so a delay at the school end can affect the whole class.
