Bank of Baroda is hiring 837 professionals on contract for its WMS wing, 791 of them as Senior Relationship Managers. Online applications close on 24 November.

Bank of Baroda is recruiting 837 professionals on contract for its Wealth Management Services (WMS) wing, and 791 of them are for Senior Relationship Managers at Deputy Manager level. The bank’s advertisement BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/20, dated 4 November, carries a tentative posting list with 23 Senior Relationship Manager posts in Hyderabad and five in Visakhapatnam. Online applications close on Tuesday, 24 November.
The remaining openings are senior roles: 35 Territory Heads and eight Group Heads at Assistant Vice President level, two Investment Product Managers and one Head of Investment. Hyderabad’s share includes three Territory Head posts and one Group Head post. The two investment roles will be based in Mumbai, and the bank can post any selected candidate anywhere in India.
Who can apply
All five roles need a degree in any discipline. A Senior Relationship Manager applicant must be 24 to 35 years old on 1 November 2026, hold an NISM V-A or NISM V-D certificate and/or IRDA IC38, and have spent at least three years as a relationship manager handling wealth, investment advisory or portfolio clients at a bank, broking or securities firm, asset management company or other financial services business. An MBA in finance, marketing or banking, CFP or CFA counts as a preferred qualification, not a requirement.
Territory Heads need eight years of such experience and an age of 28 to 42. Group Heads need 12 years, five of them leading relationship managers, and must be 35 to 50. Stints shorter than six months, clerical work and teaching or training do not count as experience. Of the 791 Senior Relationship Manager posts, 118 are for SC, 59 for ST, 213 for OBC and 79 for EWS candidates, and 322 are unreserved; SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates get the usual relaxation in the upper age limit.
Fee, contract and selection
The application fee is ₹850 including GST for general, EWS and OBC candidates and ₹175 for SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and women candidates, plus payment gateway charges. The contract runs for five years at first and can be extended by up to five more, ending at 60 at the latest. The advertisement does not fix a salary; the bank will set it based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, last drawn pay and market rates. Selection may include an online test and a psychometric test, followed by an interview.
Each candidate may choose one post and apply through the Current Opportunities page on the bank’s website, by 24 November.
