Deepavali on Sunday: Lakshmi puja hours for Hyderabad, Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Bengaluru and Chennai
Pradosha, the evening window for Lakshmi puja on 8 November, opens at 5.23 pm in Visakhapatnam and 5.42 pm in Hyderabad. Our city-wise table has the hours.

The Deepavali Lakshmi puja falls in pradosha, the first part of the night, and that window does not open at the same minute everywhere. On Sunday, 8 November, Visakhapatnam reaches it at 5.23 pm, Hyderabad at 5.42 pm and Tirupati a minute after that.
Amavasya begins at about 11.28 am on Sunday and lasts until about 12.32 pm on Monday, so it holds through the whole of Sunday evening in both Telugu states. That is why the puja belongs to Sunday.
Pradosha hours, city by city
