Salaar 2 shooting begins in June 2027, says Prashanth Neel

Speaking at the 418 event on Prabhas's birthday, 23 October, director Prashanth Neel said the Salaar sequel will start shooting in June 2027.

Salaar 2 now has a month. Director Prashanth Neel said on 23 October that shooting begins in June 2027.

Neel was speaking at the event for 418, the horror film he presents, which opened in cinemas that day. It was also Prabhas’s birthday.

The sequel, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, is produced by Hombale Films. The first part, Ceasefire, came out in 2023 with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy alongside Prabhas.

Neel is directing NTR in Dragon. Prabhas has Fauzi and Spirit ahead of him. No release date has been announced for Salaar 2.
