The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education has released the tentative schedule for the 2027 Intermediate public examinations. Theory papers for both years will be held between 24 February and 16 March 2027, the Board said in a statement from Vijayawada.

First-year students will sit their first paper on 24 February, and second-year students begin a day later, on 25 February. The papers will run from 9 am to 12 noon each day, and the same timing applies to regular candidates and to those appearing for backlog subjects.

Practicals before the theory papers

The practical examinations for general courses are scheduled for 1 to 10 February 2027, well ahead of the theory papers. Colleges and students will need to plan laboratory preparation around those dates, since the window is only ten days long.

Dates are tentative

Board Secretary P. Ranjith Basha said the dates are tentative. The Board has published a subject-wise timetable in PDF form, and students have been advised to check it for the exact day of every paper. Because the schedule is provisional, a change in a date or two before the final notification cannot be ruled out.

The final papers of the series fall on 16 March.

What students should do

  • Download the subject-wise timetable from the Board’s official website, bie.ap.gov.in, and match it against your own subject combination.
  • Note the practical dates in early February, which come before any theory paper.
  • Keep an eye on the Board’s website and on your college notice board for the final notification.

The window from the first paper on 24 February to the last on 16 March spans 21 days.
