Careers at Telugu Scope
Help shape the stories people care about.
Telugu Scope is building a modern bilingual digital newsroom for Telugu audiences in India and around the world. We would like to hear from people who write, report, film, photograph, edit and publish — and from specialists who know one subject better than anyone else in the room.
Why Telugu Scope
We publish across politics, movies and entertainment, sports, reviews, technology and video — in English and తెలుగు — and we are building the newsroom and the product at the same time. That means the people who join early have unusual influence over how sections look, how stories are told and which beats we take seriously.
The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: fast where speed matters, careful everywhere else, and honest about what we do and do not know. If that is the kind of journalism you want to make, we would like to read your application.
Ways to contribute
These are the areas we are always interested in hearing about. They are expressions of interest, not advertised vacancies — when we have a specific opening, it will be listed here.
Editorial & Writing
Reporters, writers, sub-editors and contributors across politics, business and daily news — in English, in తెలుగు, or both.
Video & Social
People who can carry a story onto YouTube, Instagram and X — scripting, editing, presenting and building an audience that stays.
Photography
Photographers and picture editors who can cover events, portraits and daily news, and who care how a page looks as much as what it says.
Specialist Contributors
Deep knowledge of cinema, sport, technology or a regional beat, whether you write full time or occasionally.
Send us your application
Tell us what you have worked on and what you would want to own here. Links to published work, a channel, a portfolio or a byline page are worth more to us than a list of tools.
Applications are read by the newsroom, not by an automated filter. If your experience matches something we are working towards, we will get in touch using the email address you give us.
- Write in English or తెలుగు — both are read.
- Attach a CV as PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB.
- Your CV is emailed to the newsroom and is not stored on this website.
